Disability Awareness Training for all team members encourages collaboration and promotes success for individuals with disabilities. In this webinar, Rethink Ed's on-demand training for teachers, support staff (e.g. bus drivers, cafeteria workers), administrators, community members, families, and peers will be discussed, as well as the importance of having united thinking in working with students with disabilities.

Dr. Whalen is a psychologist and BCBA-D who currently resides in La Jolla, California. She graduated from University of California, San Diego and did post-doctoral research at University of California, Los Angeles and University of Washington. She has over 20 years of experience working in education, research, clinical practice, and technology with individuals with disabilities of all ages. She is the Author/Editor of the book “Real Life, Real Progress for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders: Strategies for Successful Generalization in Natural Environments” and has authored several journal articles and presented at many professional conferences and trainings. Dr. Whalen is best known for her expertise in developing curriculum and training students, parents, and staff using technology.
